Looking for something really different?
So...how about cycling to bird?
I have found that these work really well together. I love birding and love cycling too so why not share both passions with me and be green in the bargain!
No need to worry if you don't have a bike, we supply one if you let us know we will even give you a chance to ride tandem..... if you dare!.... Lessons are free!
Cycle to Bird
It is not a head down eye balls out situation - only when we are looking for birds!
Again only small groups are taken out with a maximum of 4.
Can be from half to all day
Half day £30
All day £60 safari lunch included (including bikes, helmet, binoculars and scope and waterproof!)
Wildlife Walking Safaris
We offer you a chance to walk with nature, watching and being able to experience the marvels of this wild and ancient coastline.
You will see Seabirds, Seals, Raptors and Waders; all in 2½ hours of easy rambling.
We will meet you at an agreed point and guide you on a safari that is full of wilderness surprises!
£30 per person 4 People per session or by special arrangement. early booking recommended!
Family Activities
Birding courses especially for families
We know that as a family you need special requirements. We understand children and enjoy interpreting the landscape and nature for you all.
Cost £60 for half day (2 adults and children)
Custom Tour
Sometimes you do not want to be with a group, or maybe just with friends. If this is the case, then a Custom Tour is ideal.
You can bird and nature watch; see historical sites; visit a working croft and experience the beauty of Islay, all at your pace. You can even visit a distillery if you so wish!
A safari lunch is included and there is always time for a brew with the Kelly Kettle. Slainte!
It is YOUR tour, so discuss what you would like with Jeremy and he will make the necessary arrangements; advise on what you need; act as your guide and interpret this unique environment for you.
Cost on bikes is £195 (up to 4 people) including safari lunch.
Cost per day is £295 (up to 4 people) including safari lunch and in a vehicle hired for you.
